An internet geode sparkles!

Fri Sep 4, 2009, 9:40 PM
Mining the hard rock of the internet, sometimes ore is all we find. The ore of closed mindedness or trolls. But sometimes we come across a gem that dazzles us. It makes us happy for personal reasons but its beauty resonates on a broader scale too.

:bulletblack:Givesmehope.com:bulletblack: is a gem found through *behindinfinity's journal.

When I'm sad I feel stupid because I overlook so many awesome things about my life. The fact that they never go away Gives Me Hope!

Hey, I found something that I think Jewel might like to wear. What say you?

I don't think a helmet would offer much protection with those horns, so just the tag? He could use it as a loincloth or something; since it does say dork that'd be appropriate.

What is gold without the L?
Think about it.

That could work, though I suppose horn-holes could be drilled in. I just immediately thought "Hey, that'd be great for Jewel!" when I saw the dorktag on it.

Aha, thanks fer thinkin' of him.

Jewel: So that's the word that triggers an association to my name, eh? Ha ha. Can't say it's undeserved! X3

Of course.

Not a problem, Jewel. Hey, I'm a dork myself. We have to stick together. ;3

Tryin', zeeba neighbah! :C And you?

It's about this time that I start bitching because of lack of thin gloves that I can type in, yet I never buy any. Faaail. But dude, I love fall!!

Yeah. I've got the thermostat in my apartment in the 70s at all times. My attitude reminds me of an old joke that Drew Carey used to do complaining about cold weather. "Where's global warming when you need it? Screw the grandkids; I'm cold now!"

Here's hoping you find some good gloves soon. And yeah, fall is awesome. Especially October. All Hallow's Eve will soon be upon us, and my Druidic blood boils in anticipation.
